Elite Support Holds Second Annual CIC Summit

Elite Support hosted the second annual Continuous Improvement Coordinator (CIC) Summit for Elite Support Certified and in-process dealers in San Antonio, Texas on January 16th – 18th.

The CICs hold the important position of leading their dealership in achievement of the criteria required to become Elite Support Certified. The responsibility does not stop there; they are also responsible for sustainment of the Elite Support criteria on an on-going basis and for leading Continuous Improvement activities at their dealership.

The CIC Summit is an invitation-only event for CICs that focuses on providing CICs with training and support to help them develop in their role. At the 2013 CIC Summit, nearly 120 CICs had the opportunity to network with their peers and participate in breakout sessions. These events focused on specific skills to help increase the CIC’s effectiveness in implementing and sustaining change at the dealership, with the end goal of improving the customer’s experience.

This year’s CIC Summit was an opportunity to celebrate the individual achievement of Continuous Improvement Coordinators, who excelled during 2012, by presenting awards in four different categories.

The CIC Summit was also an opportunity to recognize dealership achievement. All Elite Support Certified dealers were recognized for their accomplishment in reaching certification. In addition, eight dealerships who have been Elite Support Certified since 2010 and 28 dealerships who have been Elite Support Certified since 2011 were recognized for maintaining their certification and continuing to raise the bar on the customer experience.

Finally, the CICs had the opportunity to enjoy interactive sessions and networking with their peers.

The Continuous Improvement Coordinators who attended the CIC Summit left energized to continue raising the bar and equipped with skills to transform the trucking industry.
